Anurag Basu – A Multi Talented Director
Director of the hit movie, Barfi, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic Leukemia (a type of blood cancer) in 2004. Doctors told him he had just two months more to live, but this no-nonsense man took it as it comes. The cancer or the treatment could not keep him away from work. He directed last parts of his movie ‘Tumsa Nahi Dekha’ from his hospital bed. He also scripted two movies, ‘Life in a Metro’ and ‘Gangster’ at the hospital. Cleared of cancer, Anurag Basu is back in business, making movies with a difference.
