4. Gun Hill
One of the highest peaks in Mussoorie, Gun Hill is the place to go if you are looking for thrills. You can reach the peak by taking a ropeway ride. If you are looking for a more adventurous alternative then you can use bridles path which starts from the Mall Road. This path takes approximately 20 minutes to reach the hill. Ropeway ride, on the other hand, is 400 meters long. From Gun Hill, you can enjoy the views of various parts of Himalayan range such as Bunderpunch, Srikantha, Pithwara and Gangotri group. In the old days, the hill housed a gun, which used to be fired to mark midday, giving the hill its name.
